Project Description
WELCOME TO OUR CENTRE
We provide a warm caring nurturing place for children, families and whānau who are encouraged to be part of and contribute to our programme.
Our indoor environment is attractively presented and offers children a wide range of learning experiences that spark their interest in creative arts, science, literacy, building and design with blocks and role play. Children are able to engage in learning with each other and the environment.
We have an expansive attractive outdoor play space which is situated within Park Estate School grounds. Our natural environment is a wonderful space for children to physically challenge themselves while also learning to appreciate and learn about science and nature. We have a large range of resources for children to use while growing plants and learning new and exciting skills with sand, water and outdoor sports equipment.
Come and see us – families are welcome to visit and stay for a play day every Wednesday.

WE ARE AN ENVIROSCHOOL
The Enviroschools programme supports children and young people to plan, design and implement sustainability actions that are important to them and their communities.
The programme provides pathways from early childhood through primary, intermediate and secondary school and beyond. Through our collaborative approach of building strong relationships and sharing information, we are growing a collective puna mātauranga or pool of knowledge.
Enviroschools is supported by a national team, in partnership with nearly 100 national and regional partners, including the majority of New Zealand’s councils. Facilitators from these partner organisations work with a suite of resources to progress the sustainability journey.
