Our Pacific Early Learning Centre is open Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm and is located in the heart of Manurewa on Rowandale Avenue.  We are licensed for 30 tamariki aged from two-six years old.

We are looking for a Pacific teacher, who is dedicated to supporting and developing identity, language and culture for Pacific learners.

If you are a reflective teacher, someone who uses their initiative, has a love of learning, values positive relationships and would be a valuable part of a collaborative team, then this is the position for you!

We aim to be a cultural-oriented focused Centre that fully supports culture and identity.  We work closely with our whānau to ensure our tamariki are getting the best start to their early years of learning.   At Pacific Early Learning we focus on tamariki relationship building, confidence to work with others and establish foundation skills.  We are committed to empower our tamariki as they explore and learning in their environment.   We understand that tamariki learning abilities are different, and we will cater to all learning abilities.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Hold a NZ ECE teacher qualification (level 7) and be provisionally or fully registered as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
• Ability to teach children in a positive, nurturing way
• Must be passionate, caring, and committed to education and care

Hours of Work:            Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am – 5.00pm
